10 Best-ever Home Remedies That Always Work

I don’t really take doctor medicine. In fact, I have almost never take doctor prescription medicine for more than 10 years now.

I believe that the body can heal itself given the right nutrition. Even my 6 years old daughter use home remedy to cure fever, cold or cough.

Below are the home remedy that always works for my family. It takes time to cure with home remedy. But with plenty of rest it can actually increase your immune system in the long run.

1.    Fever

Drink plenty of fresh coconut water.

Cook bone broth soup with turmeric and ginger. Drink plenty of soup and water to flush the bacteria/virus away.

Sleep and rest as much as possible.


2.    Soothe a Sore Throat & Cough

Mix Manuka honey with coconut oil.

Drink Turmeric Milk (Mix turmeric with almond milk).

Drink honey lemon.

Take crush raw garlic


3.    Cold and Flu

Cook chicken soup (with chicken bones for bone broth) with plenty of herbs like turmeric, ginger, garlic and onion.

Drink Honey Lemon

Take crush raw garlic and eat raw onion.

 Take fruits with plenty of vitamin C


4.    Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)

Take Apple Cider Vinegar daily. Under severe condition of UTI, bath with apple cider vinegar.

Unsweetened Cranberry Juice helps to keep bacteria from sticking to the bladder wall.

Take probiotic.

Drink plenty of water to flush away the bacteria causing infection (2-3 liter per day)

Wear loose cotton clothing and underwear.


5.    Migraine

Massage works fastest for me. Particularly with masseur who knows how to massage your head due to the migraine.

Drink plenty of coconut water or take magnesium supplement,

Take cold shower does help with the migraine.


6.    Gastric

Take warm mint tea and eat some apple does keep the gastric away.


7.    Toothache

Mix wheatgrass Powder with mineral water and gargle with it.

Oil pulling using coconut oil.

Drink bone broth.

Take fermented cod liver oil


8.    Bloating

Warm Liquid to make poop softer.

High-fibre and easily digestive food such as banana and oatmeal with warm water

Prune Juice

Eat smaller(less) but more frequent meals

Probiotic or Kefir water

Light Exercise


9.    Nausea

Ginger honey tea


10.    Insomnia

Honestly, this is the hardest for me to cure naturally. But as long as my mind is clear and free from anxiety it is much easier to fall asleep and fall back to sleep.

Drink Cherry Juice. It has natural melatonin to help your sleep.

Take 5-htp supplement to balance serotonin hormone.

Go for really good body massage.

Detox from mobile or desktop screen few hours before sleeping
